Note from consignor: SUMMER OF CRAZY HORSE. In 1989 on a trip across the USA, I was reading the biography of Crazy Horse by Marie Sandoz. Often times I’d read aloud to Glen and begin crying about the sad events in the life of the warrior. That really moved Glen so much that when we got home to San Francisco, he read the book himself. This work THE DEATH OF CRAZY HORSE depicts the famous warrior in death and above him on a hill is the sacred white buffalo of the Oglala.
