Description
LeRoy Neiman (1921-2012), "The Trap Shooter", pastel, and accompanying two drawings for and of Jeanette Rudy, Nashville, Tennessee (1928-2011) who was a personal friend of Neiman. She was the Tennessee State Skeet and Trap Champion and National Champion for several years in the 1960s-70s. Also included, originals by Neiman, "A Big Shot" with caricature of Rudy and "The Rennaissance Woman" as a nod to her collection of Duck Stamps for which the Smithsonian Museum has created the Jeanette Cantrell Rudy Duck Stamp Gallery, opened June 1996.
