A Chinese soft incense-green summer silk gauze Manchu women's informal robe, Qing Dynasty, circa 1850, worn by a Palace courtier, the colour is unusual and can indicate a high rank consort, the robe is trimmed with original cream gauze embroidered with shades of blue silk depicting a multitude of flowers and squirrels running through the leaves, the main body is woven with twinned five-clawed dragons in the roundels indicating royal status, the cuffs are edged with matching sleeve bands, approximately 130cm hem to collar x 107cm cuff to cuff约清1850年 香色满族龙纹暗花纱女袍
