Each measures approx 21 x 17 in. In frames, brown wood frames, surface wear to frame, pieces are loose in frames, discoloration from exposure, professionally framed, not examined out of frames. John Gould FRS was an English ornithologist. He published a number of monographs on birds, illustrated by plates produced by his wife, Elizabeth Gould, and several other artists, including Edward Lear, Henry Constantine Richter, Joseph Wolf and William Matthew Hart.
