Two pages from a magazine, one a full page photo of Johnny Hodges (1907-1970) alto saxaphonist for Duke Ellington; the second page with text signed by eight members of his own orchestra (including John Coltrane) along with a large photo of Coltrane (with his tenor sax) taken by Francis Wolff (1907-1971) during the "Blue Train" recording session, Hackensack, NJ, on Sept 15, 1957. In figured mahogany frame, under two-window mat and UV glass. OS: 21" x 36 1/2", pages together: 11 1/2" x 17 1/4"; photo: 13" x 10", light dimples at bottom of last.Band member signatories: Alfred Cord (?), trombone; G.P.
