A certificate of authenticity signed by Linda Krehbiel, Krehbiel Corporation, Chicago, Illinois and Gerald Peters Gallery, is affixed to the backing board.

Condition

The painting is lined and the stretcher bars are replaced. Minor frame abrasion and stable craquelure throughout. Under UV light examination, scattered spots of retouch throughout the sky and on the upper center mountain. Scattered spots and areas of retouch throughout the right 1/3 of the composition, and a few spots of retouch near the horse and figure. No further condition issues to report.

In a gilt over red clay bole and gesso carved Tres Mowka Designs, Santa Fe frame.
