French modernist lamp made in the 1950's . It is designed to be outside or outside , it could be a cool desk lamp or just for atmosphere as a desk lamp .While it has been cleaned I left its original patina .It is mounted on a vintage rod with a US socket , it bring a warmth and presence missing from a soulless reproduction from China. Cast iron body . Size H.28 x globe D.8 x W.4 x L.5 ( cage included ). Rewired with US socket , good antique condition ,there is some scratches from normal use and some superficial oxidation ( darker spots)
