The envelope containing the hoops/earrings inscribed: Winnebago
The envelope containing one bracelet inscribed: 9-15-64 Winnebago bracelet of John Smokes (rec 5/4/28 from Paul Warner) Rec'd from Oliver Lamere - Winnebago, Wisc. Found separately after robbery of 2-22-64 and so probably had been in some other Winnebago box. Note - unusual construction with dsign cut & joined to inside reinforcing band. Note good Indian designs. Beaver tail & sash designs.
The larger brooch accompanied by a note inscribed: 10/26/62 Large silver brooch, with small brooch soldered to center. Collected from the Kickapoo of Oklahoma by Louis Shipahee (a Potawatomi). This is definitely an old Kickapoo type, of which I have several smaller examples (Stephen Polyak). 10/26/62 RHR traded 1 smaller Sac & Fox brooch (of pair/collected from Paul Warner 2/17/27) (per Stephen Polyak the work of Sac & Fox silversmith White Breast) for above Kickapoo large brooch

Good condition overall with some general tarnishing and wear commensurate with age and material. A number of bracelets with more verdigris/residue.
