Montegrappa has revived a much-loved collection from the 1990s: Cosmopolitan. A sterling silver pen with resin accents, with details formed in bas-relief, the Cosmopolitan will serve as a means of communicating the spirit of five different cultures. Each will be offered as a special edition of 500 silver rollerball pens and 500 silver fountain pens. Russia's first space flight. In 1957, Russia's Sputnik was the first man-made spacecraft to enter space; in 1961, cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin became the first human to travel into space. Cosmopolitan's pen will honour Soviet achievements in space exploration.
