Utagawa Kunisada (Japanese, 1786-1864), Eastern Genji's Cherry Blossom Banquet
circa 1856, ink and colors on paper, woodblock print, oban triptych, signed Toyokuni ga in red cartouche to lower corner, publisher seal Iseyoshi, with censor seal, each print part of a full scene showing elegant ladies dressed in kimono on an outdoor playing traditional instruments and admiring the view surrounding the central figure Prince Genji, presented loose.
Each print 13 7/8 x 9 3/4 in.
