Description

An Art Deco metal and glass desk set. Modernist design with black rectangular glass base, aluminum seaplane figure, and raised square aluminum cradle, holding a glass cube form inkwell with hinged aluminum lid. Displaying a two piece hand made Sheaffer fountain pen, having 14k gold impressed Sheaffer nib. Pen impressed to side W.A. SHEAFFER PEN CO. FORT MADISON, IOWA, MADE IN U.S.A.

Dimensions: 4 X 11.5 X 8 in.

Condition: Good overall condition, having normal to moderate age related wear, and small chip to top right of base. Top piece on airplane loose. Pen requires ink refill. Estate fresh to the market.
