VICTORIAN ENGLISH STERLING SILVER SERVING TRAY, oval form with ornate engraved and chased decoration, beaded rim, two round handle to ends with ram heads and scrolled designs at terminals, raised on four short feet. Impressed to underside with "RM / EH" maker's mark for Martin, Hall & Co. of London and four hallmarks of a lion passant for sterling fineness, a leopard's head for London, an "S" date mark for 1873, and a Queen Victoria duty mark. Total weight: 133 ozt. Circa 1873. 18 5/8" x 31" OA with handles.

Condition
Very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, nicks, minute dents, and minor worn spots to decoration, one handle with a bend to one edge scroll, other handle with losses to tip of one edge scroll and possible repair to the other edge scroll.
