Two 19th Century Carved Pekingese Figures, pouncing on a bookmark, Japan 1890 with raised tail, open mouth showing teeth, inlaid eyes, height 4 3/4 inches. Provenance: Orientation Gallery, New York, reference S1127, 6/27/95, signed on bottom; along with a 19th century Pekingese with a ball, 6 3/4" x 5".
