A Hopi Katsina Doll Ogre Woman Soyoko at Third Mesa: In a squatting posture, with semi-circular feet and thin arms hugging the torso. The pink body with dotted legs and supporting a black case mask with circular eyes and toothy snout. Remnant of wool yarn and fiber attached at top. Provenance: Estate of Chief R. Deerfoot (1871-1959), Sinking Springs, OH; through the family by descent. Height: 5 ¾ inches
