TWO RUSSIAN IMPERIAL SILVER MEDALS AND FIVE NAVAL RIBBONS
Late 19th Century
Silver and enamel Imperial Order of the Lion and the Sun medals with lions on central guilloche. Stamped "84" and with an unidentified maker's mark “AC” on reverse. Five naval ribbons with Cyrillic lettering.
Medals 2.75” x 2.75”. Ribbon lengths from 30” to 52”.
Provenance:
The estate of Antoine Volkoff, former Consul General of the Imperial Russian Government in Chicago in the 1910s.

The one without ribbon has some minor damage to enamel and small losses to tips of the star. The other (stamped ‘84’) is excellent. The absence of a condition report does not imply an object is free of defects. All items may have normal signs of age and wear commensurate with their
