Folio, leaves 14.75" x 9.75", binding 15.75" H. ************** Bound in a handsome monastic binding of blind-stamped pig over beveled wooden boards, one clasp (the other lacking), dated 1573. * Provenance: From the collection of Scott Murphy.
Condition
Some old labels to spine, the whole dust-soiled and with various stains, rear upper corner with crack to board. Contents mostly rather clean, an old library stamp to title (lower margin), sold here as a binding and not fully collated (appears complete, with multiple woodcut Froben printer's devices.) Handsome, large volume.
