Helen Hatch Inglesby (Savannah, 1914-1999), 2 Silhouettes, unframed, comprising a silhouette of a mother pushing a stroller with two children, and two children with umbrella and ducks, both initial signed.John Duncan purchased remainder of artists works from their estate in 1999.
Savannah native Helen Hatch Inglesby had a long and prolific career as an artist working in a wide variety of media, though she was perhaps best known for her silhouettes. Inglesby studied at the College of William and Mary and at the Telfair Academy. She was devoted to the Savannah art world, exhibiting regularly with the Savannah Art Association and the Society of Georgia Artists, as well as teaching art at various schools in the city. Her work can be found in the permanent collections of the Morris Museum of Art, the Telfair Museum and in private collections.
Measurements: Height: of paper 9 in. x Width: 12 in.

Overall good condition, very minor wear to edges of paper, silhouette with mother and children with foxing.
