Antique hardcover, First Edition, copy of Giovanni and the other, by Frances Hodgson Burnett, New York, Charles Scribners Sons. Copyright 1892. A little Italian boy with a beautiful voice, who comforted Mrs. Burnett when she mourned for her son at San Remo, is the hero of the first story. It is slightly autobiographical, introducing the writer and her tender reminiscences of her lost boy. Minor wearing to hardcover corners. Cover is adorn with green toned motifs of cherub holding a gold gilt palm leaf with a harp in background. Pages have no evident wearing. Approximately 8.5 x 7 x 1 inches.
