A small Japanese lacquer urn-form sectional box and a box decorated with tsuba 日本漆盒两件 Meiji to Taisho period 明治或大正
The first three-sectioned box finely decorated with stylized lotus petal to the knop, the body decorated with sinuous floral motifs and dragons in togidashi, the dragon's eyes delicately inlaid with raden, the lower section decorated with floral scrolls, a gold hiramaki-e knotted cord with tassels to the neck. The rectangular box decorated in hiramaki-e and togidashi with four tsuba to the cover, a pair of menuki to the front, and three kozuka handles.
