Item Details

Description

Gold silk satin square ground decorated with central roundel of large dragon worked in gold metallic thread, the dragon upon silk satin stitch waves and cloud bands all within a Greek key couched metallic thread border, each of the four corners of the square having similar but smaller dragon upon waves and cloud bands, gold silk damask backing with paper tag and old Christie's tag. 40 x 40. (Minor embroidery wear at edges and some loose threads) excellent.
