In 1935, Mr. Antonio Zuella lived in Paris, studying engineering and spending the family money. Your father was one important and rich rancher. In the past, the family helped the building of the famous Colón's Theatre (One of the best opera houses in the world). At this time in Paris, Mr. Antonio acquired two paintings by the artist Eugene Berman. But, Mr. Antonio decides to acquire the small drawing whit a bearded man offered by the art dealer. It was a drawing or a "sketch" for a theatre costume. To the Opera "Nabucco" - Verdi. Mr. Antonio gave the drawing to his father. Since this time, the small drawing remained whit the family. Maybe, one of the few things that survived. They sold a lot of things over the years and the family lose much money in Argentina during the dictator's times. In fact, is most probable that the drawing was created for the director George Balanchine, a famous Russian choreographer. In the back what you see is not a hole but a small mark.
