Two Denver and Rio Grande Western RR Ash Pails

Item Details

Description

This is a pair of Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad ash pails, One is a taller can, 14” high and 10” in diameter, that is dented and has small holes in the bottom, but was saved as a railroad artifact, because it is much older and valuable, being from the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad, and is cast only with DandRG RR. The other can is newer, measures 13” x 10”, has a nice hinged lid and is in very good condition. It is cast with “DandRGW” in the metal. Both pails have handles.
