Cat-eye shaped with a raised 8mm by 8mm deep blue simulated sapphire and pave-set small clear stones alternating with inlaid opal sections. The cateye shape design is appx. 19mm by 12mm. The band is 6.8mm wide and tapers down to 1.3mm at the back of the finger. It is marked .925 but it is not sterling. Very bright silver tone which is likely rhodium plated for anti-tarnish properties. It is new old stock and came from a reseller of more modern jewelry. Beautiful ring. Very attention-getting and flattering to the finger - I have shorter rounder fingers and gives a more elongated look. Likely made in China but a nicely made and not thin ring. It will last a very long time if taken care of - simulated rings should not be worn in pools, while doing dishes, etc. It has the look of a ring that someone paid a lot of money for. The reseller was selling this ring for $82. She had it marked as opal and topaz but I'd say more sapphire color than topaz.
