Pair of Louis XV-Style Kingwood, Rosewood and Marble-Top Commodes

early 20th century, each with a shaped and bowed marble top above a conforming bombe case fitted with two drawers, each banded and with parquetry veneers, raised on sabre legs ending in sabots.

Both are sturdy, solid and stable, exhibiting only minor wear and blemishes and no notable veneer issues. Marble tops on both are in very good condition. Both drawers slide freely. They retain their locks. There are two keys present, one of which works on all the locks, the other of which only serves to use to open the drawers.
