Condition
Overall good condition. In original canvas and leatherette bound portfolio. Case ribbon ties have broken. Title page has heavy toning and spots of staining.
Each plate: Overall good condition. Most tipped down inside the original Van Gelder Zonen paper mounts. Some images have rippling to paper from the tacking. Some have a later-added overmat. Each image is slightly toned with mat burn. Four works are framed and not examined out of the frame: Blackfoot Country; Bow River; Placating the Spirit of a Slain Eagle; and Oksoyapiw.
Portfolio: Shows signs of wear with fraying and torn spine at the bottom. "18" is letter pressed into the leatherette binding. Some ties are torn.
