This group of 32 albumen silver stereoview pairs of Yosemite Valley are each mounted to yellow card, bearing Soule's credits. Occasional numbering and writing on the reverse. John Payson Soule (1828-1904) was a photographer and publisher who got his start in Boston, Massachusetts, and moved to Seattle around 1882. Some images may have been taken by Martin M. Hazeltine.

Some toning and light wear to cards; photograph condition varies with occasional light surface scratches, some image fading, mild soiling; on the whole images are crisp relative to other albumen prints of this age; very good.
