20th century rooster figure in brown glaze made and signed by Reggie Meaders (1919-2009), brother of Lanier and Edwin. All three were members of the famous Meaders family of Georgia and well known for their various folk pots and figures. It is in excellent, original condition with no apologies. Please note that the short tail feather was done in the making and is not damage. Measures approximately 14” tall by 12” long by 6” wide.
