A. Lutzky, Aaron Zucker (1892-1957) was an American Jewish Yiddish poet, born in Demydivka village near Lutzk in Ukraine. Zucker immigrated to America in 1914 after his fathers death, and published first poems under penname A. Lutzky in the Yidishes Tageblat and Der Tog in 1917. In 1918, Lutzky served with the American Expeditionary Forces in France for World War I, and fought in the trenches of Verdun.
