Condition
Very good condition overall, with obvious loss to a few insets, as is visible in images. Minor dents and scratches intermittently throughout. Embedded dust in recessed areas and accretions to the back of the lotus stalk. Remains of cold gold in the face, blue pigment in the hair, black and white pigment in the eyes, and red pigment in the lips and banding behind the crown. The sculpture retains its original mortise to the back of the base that would have been used to align the figure to a mandorla. The base is sealed with a later baseplate.
