An outstanding Bulgari Akoya pearl amethyst diamond emerald 18k gold necklace. A sparky architectural pendant is perfectly underlined with the shimmering pearls. This play of light creates an opulent feel of luxury. The contrast between moderate pearl and the bright pendant makes this piece look dramatic and eloquent. The rhombus shape pendant is composed of a hexagonal amethyst in the center, framed with baguette cut diamond set in white gold. Rhombus side angles accented with cabochon emerald. The pendant attached to the necklace by a gold framed diamond rondelles. The akoya pearl is a saltwater cultured pearl that forms in Pinctada Fucata oyster. Because of its perfect round shape and luster, the akoya pearl jewelry is highly popular.
The hexagon amethyst measures 12.83 x 13.95 x 8.57 mm and weighs approximately 8.63 carats. The diamonds are of baguette and step cut with total weight is approximately 2.50 carats, they are G color, VS clarity. The Akoya pearls measure from 8.52 mm to 7.25 mm in diameter.
The vintage necklace weighs 50.6 grams. The collar necklace measures 15 ½” x ¼” (39 x 0.8 cm), the pendant part measures 1 ¾” x 1” (4.4 x 2.5 cm). The necklace is stamped with Bulgari maker's mark and logo, serial number, hallmark for 18 karat.
