Igor Tulpanov, Russian, American, born 1939, colorful vibrant giclee print on paper, Fantasy. Circa: 1990s. Signed with a monogram upper left. Framed. Igor Tulpanov was born in Leningrad, USSR. He has been living in the USA since 1979. Tiulpanov employs Surrealist imagery in his paintings, incorporating stylistic elements from Leonardo da Vinci, Hieronymus Bosch, and Jan van Eyck. Igor Tulpanov is influenced by and sometimes incorporates whole scenes from Hieronymus Bosch in his paintings. The symbols Tulpanov uses, various statues of pagan gods, spectacles, books, tears, eggs, mirrors pass from painting to painting.
