A JAPANESE SIX-FOLD SCREEN, SIGNED KANO TSUNENOBU (1636-1713). Ink paintings of landscape on paper with signatures and seals of Kano Tsunenobo.'Probably executed by a follower in the Kano studio at Kobikicho in Kyoto' Mid-Edo period, early 18th century. Total screen size 256cm length x 110cm (af) Provenance: Purchased from Michael Dunn Ltd. Tokyo Japan 28th March 1989 - With original purchase receipt of 650,000 Japanese Yen. End right panel detached. Second panel from right with paper border torn bottom right. Foxing throughout. Please see photos for condition.
