Description
A pair of 19th century silver candelabra, both bearing impressed maker's marks for Polish silversmith Rudolf Baumann (working 1830-50) together with town marks for Poznan & silver marks likely for .800 fine, constructed in sections showing writhen turned columns supporting twin branches formed as hippocampi, surmounted by a central nozzle atop a leafy support (one repaired), raised overall on foliate embossed stepped bases, dents & bruising, monogrammed. Height 24", combined weight 2,890 grams. September 23rd: added 2 photos.
