14K yellow gold antique diamond and foiled glass locket. The face of the locket is decorated with an oval created from 3 curved pieces of deep rose colored glass finished with a foil back. Twisting ropes of stretch across the curving connections to attach to a star shaped center mounting set with a single rose cut diamond. The glass is attached to the locket with a simple bezel, framed in a twisted gold wire, engraved acanthus decoration, and finished in twisted gold. The locket side is adorned with layers of twisted gold wire and engraving. It opens to a deep locket 3/4" in length, 9/16" wide, with original glass, and brown woven fabric. The bale is not original. Measures 1 1/4" in length, 1" wide, 9/16" deep. Unmarked. Approx. 13.3 grams.
