A SET OF FIVE ENAMELED GOSU-AKAE (KO-SOMETSUKE) SAUCER DISHES
Chongzhen period
Each painted in bright enamels of green, yellow, aubergine and iron-red with black highlights, each depicting tree peony rising from a grassy verge with a butterfly and an insect flying nearby, the foliate lobed rims dressed in a dark brown, the reverses plain.
