FOUR JADE ARCHER'S RINGS
19th century
The first of mottled white tone with a russet skin, carved at the crest with a cavorting Buddhist lion and pup; the second of mottled gray, green brown and cream with a russet skin, carved with Liuhai with his toad under a pine; the third of white jade with black flecks and a brown skin, carved on the crest with a blossoming prunus tree; the fourth of white jade stained brown on the crest and carved with a bird under a gnarly pine tree.
1 1/16 (2.8cm), 1 3/8in (3.1cm); 1 1/4in (3.2cm) and 1 1/8in (2.9cm) diam (4).
