Description
Estate collection of two (2) African tribal primitive iron metal necklaces. Ethnographic works produced in the primitive, tribal style of the Kirdi peoples of Cameroon and Nigeria. With loop form beads and gnarled, dangling adornments. Vintage fabric connectors. Each presented with a metal hanging gallery presentation stand. Larger in stand measures 18.25" x 6" x 4"; smaller in stand measures 17" x 5.25" x 4". From the Chicago estate of American gallerist and philanthropist Maria McCormick (1937-2021).
Condition: Good overall condition, having normal age related surface wear, patina and oxidation. Estate fresh to the market.
