Antique Tray with reverse glass painting of a peacock on a branch, framed in painted wood with with Brass handles. Spots were paint has rubbed off of glass, consistent with age and environment. Backside has writing on cardboard, reads ‘ Mr. & Mrs John Laur 53 No Grand St Poughkeepsie, NY’ Tray measures 21.5 x 13.75 in. Very possibly the frame was up cycled and turned into a tray by handing the handles and painting the back side of the glass. Wear to frame.
