Chinese Porcelain Fish Bowl / Jardiniere, Famille Rose Mandarin, 20th Cent -It is hand decorated in the Canton, "Rose Mandarin" manner with four alternating panels of people in a verandah setting, the panels set amongst flowers and butterflies using the Famille Rose palette of colors, with gilt highlighting. There are borders around the upper section and a nicely painted upper rim top of butterflies and precious things with flowers. The inside of the bowl is also painted, with fish swimming among water plants. Red seal signature id on underside. It is believed to be from early part of the 20th Century. Measures 22.5" on base and 16" wide. Can be shipped or picked up from Houston, Tx.
