Description
Robert F. Kennedy (1925-1968) Politician. Kennedy was Attorney General during his brother JFK's administration. He later served as a U.S. Senator and was assassinated during his run for the presidency. 8 ½” x 10 ½” typed letter signed, “Bob,” Office of the Attorney General, April 26, 1962, to Joseph F. Radigan. “…I have seen he letter describing the joit conference on law enforcement which you hele d in Burlington….Much of the success of our program depends upon a close working relationship between Federal, State and local law enforcement officials…Bes of luck….” There are staple holes in the top margin and date docking at the lower right. Joseph F. Radigan (1905-1975) was a as United States Attorney for the District of Vermont from 1961 to 1969. A file copy of Radigan’s April 16th letter to John R. Reilly is included.
