Album containing a collection of 43 original costume designs, with a gentleman dressed in a Pear's soap advertisement costume, six designs for ladies fashion, five of these with fabric swatches, and the others various costumes for theatre and pantomime, watercolours, 8 signed with a few dated, various sizes, all neatly fixed onto album leaves, a few loose, scattered surface dirt, spotting and browning throughout, bound in half purple calf, artist's name to upper cover, gilt, spine gilt, 'Costumes'. C. & W May', very worn, folio, [circa 1890s and slightly later]
