His sister, a graduate from Sotheby’s Institute of Arts, with a Master of Arts, is also a collector and extremely well versed in the genre. Andy Warhol popularized centralizing particular objects as the focus of his art depending on his mood. His themes were laced with popular culture references of the time, and often things that moved him most - Campbell’s Soup Cans, Coke and Pepsi artwork, Marilyn Monroe, superheroes and Disney references, and many others all played central themes in his artwork.
