Pair 19th C. French Jean Gille French Bisque Urns - France. C. 1840s-1860s. A pair of large highly decorated covered urns in French bisque. Each urn featuring hand-painted floral panels, "Three Graces" winged Maiden figural busts over arched scroll supports that terminate in a leopard spotted pad foot. Underside of urns and lids marked with "JG" impressed blue bisque plaques for Jean Gille of Paris. 23" h x 12" w. Condition: Repair to neck of one of the maidens. Fleabite to the top of finial on lid (one has painted repair).
