PINK SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND BAR BROOCH
Set with a cushion-shaped pink sapphire, on a knife-wire bar terminating in old cushion-shaped diamonds, diamonds approx. 2.25cts total, length 6.0cm

Diamonds estimated by the department in the mounts as H/I, VS2/SI1 clarity, each with a few nibbles/very small chips to the girdle. Pink sapphire good medium pink with some colour zoning. Generally clean with a couple of typical inclusions beneath the table and crown facets which break the surface. Some minor abrasion to the facet edges. Two claws around the sapphire have opened up and one claw to one of the diamonds needs re-tipping.
