Description
A celestial ball vase with blue and white patterns on yellow ground, Qianlong period, Qing Dynasty, "Qianlong Year of the Qing Dynasty"Yellow Earth Blue and White Celestial Ball Vase The Celestial Ball Vase is dazzling, rare and rare. The Chinese emperors believed in the authority of the emperor, and the shape of the celestial sphere, the pattern of the dragon with flowers and the yellow ground used in this bottle show the respect of the Emperor Qianlong, the real dragon and the son of heaven. This kind of yellow-ground blue-and-white porcelain is unique. It adopts the advantages of blue-and-white porcelain in the early Ming Dynasty. It has excellent craftsmanship and originality. The shape and decoration of the utensils are borrowed from the classics of the previous dynasties, and the yellow glaze is full of life and interest.Looking at the celestial ball bottle in the Qing Dynasty, the size of this vessel is huge, and there are few comparable ones, and no recent examples can be found in the records. There is only one bottle, similar in size, the shape and decoration are smooth and neat, and the ground is not painted with yellow glaze. Another Qianlong celestial ball bottle, of the same shape and size, with two dragons with five claws, was sold at Sotheby's, London, 13 November 2002, lot 13; there is another example for comparison, slightly smaller, with a body Even more round, sold first at Sotheby's Hong Kong, 1 November 1999, lot 382, and then sold at Christie's Hong Kong, 27 October 2003, lot 636, and 27 November 2007, lot 636. 1688.
