Moshe Gershuni (Israeli, 1936 - 2017) Israeli Modern Abstract Expressionist carborundum etching in two sheets depicting abstracted shapes and forms including two snakes encircling each other with esoteric symbols, signed, dated "1987," and numbered "2/12" lower left, bearing gallery label of "Alan Brown Gallery / 10 East Hartsdale Ave. / Hartsdale, NY," floating under glass in an ebonized wood frame. Image: 41" H x 61" W' frame: 45.25" H x 65.25" W. Provenance: Property from a 900 Park Avenue estate. Note: This piece is similar in composition to the artist's piece from the same year, titled "Hero's Bow (1987)", which also dates from the same year.
