Set throughout with a graduated series of square, step and octagonal-cut emeralds, alternating with brilliant-cut diamonds, via articulating knifewire-links, suspending an octagonal-cut emerald drop, weighing 6.55 carats, via a step-cut diamond, the brilliant, old brilliant and single-cut diamond clasp set with a central octagonal-cut emerald, diamonds approximately 5.65 carats total, length 43.0cm

The principal emerald drop is a medium green hue with some eye visible inclusions ( a few surface reaching). Under 10 X magnification, a few surface abrasions visible to girdle and some facet edges and some tiny surface reaching cavities on the central table facet are detectable. Remaining emeralds of medium green hues of varying saturation and transparencies. Some inclusions, surface reaching inclusions and a few small cavities visible upon close inspection. Emerald nearest tongue end of clasp with an iridescent inclusion and a few surface reaching vein-like cavities. Emerald third in from tongue end with an eye visible chip under one claw. Emerald ninth in from tongue end with a significant loss on one side. Emerald second in from clasp end with chips to pavilion facets visible under 10 X magnification. Diamonds estimated VS2-SI2 clarity, H-J colour (central brilliant-cut diamond above step-cut diamond link estimated SI3/I1 clarity). Unmarked/untested white metal with light surface wear. Overall in good condition. Gross weight approx. 58.0 grams.
