Accompanied by a report from GCS stating that the ruby is of Thai origin, with no indications of heat treatment. Report number 5782-2912 dated 24th August 2022.

Ruby bright and lively and medium red hue, with some pinkish tones and good transparency. Under close inspection a few typical inclusions seen. Under 10x magnification, some inclusions seen throughout the stone including crystals, feathers and silk. Under 10x magnification and with strong light, a small thin chip down the long side of the girdle/crown facets which is not visible when worn, and some minor abrasion to the facet edges seen. Diamonds estimated H/I colour, SI clarity. Mount in overall good condition with minor surface wear. Set in untested white metal, with maker's mark WB and stamped 'PLAT' indicating platinum.
