Designed as a stylised butterfly, the wings of openwork form with knifewire detail, millegrain-set with old brilliant, old single and rose-cut diamonds, suspending two articulating similarly-set drops of unequal length, mounted in gold and platinum, old brilliant and old single-cut diamonds approximately 3.90 carats total, length 5.8cm, fitted case by Hunt & Roskell Ltd., 25 Old Bond Street, London, W1

Principal diamond at centre spreading at approximately 0.50 carat. Diamonds estimated VS2-I1 clarity, H-J colour. Unmarked/untested white and yellow metals with light surface wear. Reverse with some areas of discolouration. Spots of old solder visible to base of pin fitting (both ends) and to reverse/sides of longest articulating drop. Overall in good condition. Gross weight approx. 11.5 grams.
