The American Flag is our symbol of hope, freedom and perseverance.

This single American Flag (60 inches by 34 inches) was officially flown over the World Trade Center on 9/11/2011, during the 10th Anniversary of the terrorist attacks. It was on this day at the Anniversary Ceremony that The National September 11 Memorial was dedicated and opened to the public. The ceremonies featured speeches from President Barack Obama and then Vice President and current President Joe Biden, with President George W. Bush, former First Lady Laura Bush and First Lady Michelle Obama in attendance.

The flag is an Authentic United States’ American Flag made by Annin Flagmakers, the oldest and largest flag manufacturer in the United States, making flags since 1847. Annin Flags are made to the highest standards by the most experienced flag makers in the industry.

The flag comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from The September 11th Families Association that reads: “This Certificate Certifies That the Accompanying Flag of the United States of America Was Flown Over The World Trade Center on September 11, 2011”

The 9/11 Tribute Museum

More Than Just A Museum, The 9/11 Tribute Museum is a project of the September 11th Families’ Association, a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded in 2006, originally created by the widows and families of the FDNY members who died in the attacks, as a support mechanism for all the victim's families.

On August 17, 2022, The museum was forced to close permanently, and will remain closed unless they can raise the appropriate funding. This due to a sharp decline in visitors and revenue since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The proceeds gained from this lot will go to benefit The 9/11 Families’ Association with the goal and hopes of sustaining the existence and continued operation of The 9/11 Tribute Museum.
